Change of administration of .mil.pl domain

In accordance with the NASK Director's Regulation, as of 20 October 2017, on the change of administration of .mil.pl domain, NASK provides exclusive registration and maintenance of the .mil.pl domain for the minister competent for national defence.

Therefore, as of 25 October 2017 NASK ceases to accept Offers for registration and renewal of .mil.pl domain names. From the date specified above, NASK will accept Offers only from the minister competent for national defence. A right to conclude and renew agreements on options for .mil.pl domain names also ceases to be binding.

NASK's decision is a result of the agreement, concluded by and between NASK and the Ministry of National Defence. The agreement has been signed in the aftermath of the motion filed by the Minister of National Defence and approved by the Minister of Digital Affairs.

At the same time, we inform that after the lapse of minimum 60 days from the effective date of the Regulation, mentioned above, Agreements on the maintenance of .mil.pl domain names for current Registrants, which will not be recognized by the Ministry of National Defence as institutions involved in the defence of the Republic of Poland, will be terminated with a 3-month notice period under par. 24 of the .pl Domain Name Regulations as of 18 December 2006.

The registrants of .mil.pl domain names, recognized by the Ministry of National Defence as institutions involved in the defence of the Republic of Poland, will be obliged to make an assignment of those domain names to the Minister of National Defence after the lapse of minimum 60 days from the effective date of the Regulation, mentioned above.
