31 years with .pl domain!

On July 30, 1990 IANA (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority) - the organization managing top-level domains at that time, made a notation of .pl ccTLD, assigned administratively to Poland. Today we celebrate the 31st anniversary of the registration of the national .pl domain. 

In May 2008, one million domains were registered in the .pl domain Registry and less than 3 years later, there were already 2 million domains. 

The .pl domain is the first choice domain in Poland. In terms of the number of maintained domain names, the .pl Registry holds the 6th position in Europe amongst ccTLD registries. Currently, the .pl domain Registry services over 2,5 million domains, for over 1,1 million registrants.
