Transfer of the domain name service is managed by selecting/recalling a Registrar, who represents the Subscriber of the domain name before NASK. The managing entity (Registrar) is responsible for subscriber data changes, delegation changes etc. Domain name transfer is performed in 3 steps:
Release of the authinfo codes
In order for the transfer to be initiated, the selected Registrar must receive authorization information (authinfo codes) to the domain name. Releasing authinfo codes may be done in two ways, depending on who, at the moment, is the entity managing the domain name:
the domain name is managed by the Registrar - the authinfo codes are turned over to the domain name Subscriber by the currently managing Registrar. The Subscriber delivers those codes to his newly chosen Registrar. All is performed according to the procedures by which both Registrars operate.
the domain name is managed by NASK - the authinfo codes are turned over, by NASK, directly to the newly chosen Registrar. All is done according to rule written below.
The authinfo information shall be delivered by the currently managing Registrar to the domain name Subscriber under any circumstances, if that is the Subscribers will. The Registrar can not condition the release of the authinfo information by any other kind of actions.
Domain name transfer initiation
After receiving the authinfo codes, the Registrar initiates the domain name transfer. Confirmation link is sent to the domain name Subscriber who, by clicking the link, completes the transfer.
Registry restrictions that apply to the transfer initiation:
- not earlier then after 5 days from the date of the domain name registration or previous transfer
- not later than 6 days before the end of the current billing period of the domain name.
IMPORTANT! In order for the transfer to be successful, it is required to check if the current email address, written in the contact info attached to the transferred domain name, is correct.
Domain name transfer completion
The domain name transfer is complete the same moment, the Subscriber clicks the link provided and thus accepts the change of the Registrar.
ATTENTION!
Transfer concerns only those Registrars, who are Partners of NASK, meaning that both parties signed an Agreement between each other.
One may not transfer a domain name service to the Registrar which is not Partner of NASK.
Transfer from NASK
Transfer of the domain name service from NASK to the selected partner is managed in the following way:
Release of the authorization codes (authinfo) do the domain name.
a) Delivering the transfer form, signed by person/persons authorized to represent the customer, to NASK.
not earlier then after 21 days from the date of the domain name registration or beginning of the new billing period,
not later than 24 days before the end of the current billing period of the domain name.
The paper version of the transfer form must be sent, signed and combined with company registry documents (and any other appropriate empowering documents, if the way of the representation demands it - detailed information may be found at the Transfer FAQ page. At the stage of transfer form verification NASK will contact the domain name Subscriber, using only the electronic mail address written in the transfer form.
b) Turning the authorization information over to the Registrar.
NASK sends the authinfo codes directly to the selected Registrar by accepting the transfer form.
Transfer initiation
Selected Registrar initiates the transfer of the service. At the same moment a confirmation link is sent to the e-mail address given by the Subscriber. Clicking the confirmation link completes the transfer.
Registry restrictions that apply to the transfer initiation:
- not earlier then after 5 days from the date of the domain name registration or previous transfer
- not later than 6 days before the end of the current billing period of the domain name.
Transfer completion
Transfer of the domain name service to a chosen Registrar is complete once the Subscriber accepts it, by clicking the provided confirmation link.
If no such email reached the Subscriber and the transfer request is already accepted by NASK, the domain name subscriber is asked to contact his chosen Registrar.
The Subscriber may ask for his domain name service to be maintained by NASK. The operation is possible:
after 21 days from the date of the domain name registration or another transfer operation,
not later than 24 days before the end of the current billing period of the domain name.
Transfer to NASK is managed in the following way:
Obtaining the domain name authinfo codes
The Registrar, currently managing the domain name of the Subscriber, is obliged to turn the authinfo codes over to the Subscriber at his request.
Codes are released according to the Registrants procedures.
Filling out the transfer form and issuing the appropriate payment
One must fill the transfer form (to NASK) and send it either by fax: +48 22 380 83 01 or by email to the address: info@dns.pl. In case if the domain name Subscriber is a company, an appropriate documentation, confirming the way of representation must be also attached.
Attention! In order for the transfer operation to be successful, one must check if the contact data of the Registrant, attached to this domain name, are valid. In the transfer form, please use the email address from the contact data.
The process of verification may take up to 5 work days. During this process NASK will contact the domain name Subscriber using only the electronic mail, which was written in the transfer form.
Payment for the domain name transfer to NASK, in the amount of 80 PLN net (98,40 PLN gross), shall be issued on the NASK bank account in Bank Handlowy: PL 36 1030 1508 0000 0008 0194 7018 (SWIFT code - CITIPLPX).
Please use "payment for the transfer of the "DOMAINNAME.PL" domain name" as the title of the payment.
The VAT invoice shall be issued up to 7 days from the day of the payment.
Transfer initiation
After the transfer form is accepted, a confirmation link is sent to the domain name Subscriber. Clicking the link completes the transfer.
Transfer completion
The Subscriber, using the confirmation link, accepts the transfer to NASK.
